Desertoak carried out an extensive refurbishment of this property, which was formerly part Chapel, shop units and part Listed Building. Major structural works included the excavation of a Basement, to form new Kitchens, Bar and seating to the Ground Floor, Restaurant seating to First Floor and Staff/ Manager’s accommodation to the Second Floor.
External restoration included stone cleaning, canopy lighting and gas lamps, all of which helped to make this an award winning project.
Desetoak received commendation by Cheltenham Borough Council, in recognition of the environmental contribution for the restoration of a Listed Building.
The duration of the Contract was 14-weeks.

The old Clifton Cinema in Evesham had been empty for many years before Desertoak were contracted to transform the property in to the Amber Café Bar. 
The Courtyard Theatre was designed as an extension to The Other Place - the RSC’s 150-seat Studio Theatre. The new Courtyard Theatre has a new 1,050 seat Auditorium, while the existing The Other Place Auditorium has now been transformed into Foyer spaces, Cloakrooms, Bar Areas, Shop, Booking Office and Call Centre, Dressing Rooms and Band rehearsal space.
Desertoak carried out a major refurbishment to the existing pub and
nightclub above. A new extension was built over an 8 month period , doubling
the size of the night club over 2 floors.
We
were involved in the original concept and fit out of this privately owned
club in the 80's and have since provided a complete make over of the bar,
finishes and w.c. area's for this long standing client.
Over the last few years, Desertoak have carried out various alterations and decorations to the Bedrooms’ and Bar Areas’. We have also undertaken new works to the Entrance Canopy.
